Giorgio, a charismatic Italian-American, is appointed as a candidate for the Ministry of Culture in the Italian government. Determined to win the majority, Giorgio devises a plan to stage a scandal that will capture the attention of the public and secure his victory.
With the help of his assistant Marco, Giorgio hires an Instagram influencer named Sofia to portray his lover in the scandal. But the plan takes a complicated turn when they also bring in an ex-prisoner named Antonio to stage a home invasion to make the scandal even more dramatic.
As the plan unfolds, Giorgio and his team begin to realize that things are not going as smoothly as they had hoped. Sofia becomes too involved in her role as the lover, and a real relationship begins to form between her and Giorgio. Meanwhile, Antonio struggles with the guilt of staging a violent crime.
As Giorgio's campaign moves forward, the scandal takes on a life of its own, and the lines between reality and fiction become blurred. Will Giorgio and his team be able to keep their plan under control, or will the scandal spin out of their grasp and ruin Giorgio's chances of being elected?
