Starsky & Hutch is a 2004 American buddy cop comedy film directed by Todd Phillips and starring Ben Stiller as Detective David Starsky and Owen Wilson as Detective Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson. The film is a reboot of the classic 1970s television series of the same name.
In the movie, Starsky is a by-the-book cop who takes his job seriously, and Hutch is a freewheeling ladies' man who doesn't always follow the rules. When they are paired together, they clash at first, but eventually learn to work together to solve a case involving a drug dealer named Reese Feldman, played by Vince Vaughn.
