Romance,Science Fiction  United States of America

Starman is a science fiction film directed by John Carpenter, released in 1984. It stars Jeff Bridges as an alien who takes the form of a young widow's deceased husband to travel across the United States.

The film begins with an alien spacecraft arriving on Earth and being promptly intercepted by the US military. A small group of aliens manage to escape in a smaller ship, with one of them taking the form of Jenny Hayden's (Karen Allen) deceased husband, Scott (Bridges). Jenny is initially startled by Scott's presence, but over time, she begins to grow closer to him.

Scott asks Jenny to take him to a specific location in Arizona, where the mothership will be arriving to take him home. The government becomes aware of their journey and begins to track them, concerned about the potential consequences of an alien visiting Earth.

Despite the government's efforts to capture them, Jenny and Scott make their way across America in an old Cadillac, encountering various obstacles and challenges along the way. They are forced to evade police and navigate treacherous terrain while also learning about each other and forging a deep bond.

Ultimately, they reach their destination, and Scott bids Jenny farewell before boarding the mothership. His time on Earth has left a lasting impact on Jenny and the world around her, with the government now acknowledging the existence of extraterrestrial life.
