Stand by Me is a coming-of-age film based on Stephen King's novella, The Body. The story is set in 1959 and follows four young boys from a small town in Oregon - Gordie Lachance (Wil Wheaton), Chris Chambers (River Phoenix), Teddy Duchamp (Corey Feldman), and Vern Tessio (Jerry O'Connell).
