The movie Stand by Me Doraemon is a heartwarming story about the friendship between a clumsy boy named Nobita and a cat-type caretaker robot named Doraemon. Sewashi, Nobita's descendant from the 22nd century, sends Doraemon to the past to help Nobita become happy and successful so that his family can overcome the financial problems caused by Nobita's ineptitude.
At first, Doraemon struggles to help Nobita due to his laziness and lack of motivation. However, with the help of his magical gadgets, Doraemon gradually brings positive changes to Nobita's life. He helps Nobita overcome his fear of swimming, helps him improve his grades, and even helps him win the heart of his childhood crush, Shizuka.
As Nobita becomes happier and more confident, Doraemon begins to feel conflicted about his mission to return to the 22nd century. He realizes that he has formed a deep bond with Nobita and doesn't want to leave him behind. Meanwhile, Sewashi watches over them from the future and supports them from afar.
Towards the end of the movie, Doraemon and Nobita face a major challenge when Nobita accidentally causes a giant robot to go out of control, endangering their town. With the help of their friends, they work together to save their town and defeat the robot. This marks a turning point in Nobita's life, as he finally gains the courage and confidence to overcome his shortcomings.
In the end, Doraemon is faced with a decision: return to the future and fulfill his mission, or stay with Nobita in the past. He ultimately chooses to stay with Nobita, knowing that he has made a real difference in his life. The movie ends on a bittersweet note, as Doraemon and Nobita bid farewell to their friends and each other, knowing that their time together has come to an end.
