Rose Hepburn, portrayed by Lucy Hale, is an up-and-coming actress in the horror genre. After a long day of filming, she returns to her hotel and is forced to use the old freight elevator. However, the elevator comes to an abrupt halt on the twelfth floor, leaving Rose trapped with an unusual stranger.
The stranger is Daniel Reed, played by Mattias Inwood, a camera operator on Rose's latest movie. Daniel appears to be obsessed with Rose and has been stalking her for quite some time. Rose is understandably frightened and tries to escape, but there's no way out as the elevator is stuck and there's no mobile phone signal.
As the storm gets closer and tensions rise, Rose begins to confront Daniel about his stalking behavior and tries to get him to open up about why he is so obsessed with her. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse as Daniel becomes more and more unstable.
As the elevator hangs precariously high above the ground, Rose must fight for her life and try to figure out how to escape from Daniel's clutches. The movie is a tense thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
