Trapped, Terrified: The Final Curtain

Horror  Italy

StageFright: Aquarius is a 1987 horror movie directed by Michele Soavi. The movie takes place in a rundown theater where a group of struggling actors is rehearsing for a production of a musical play called "The Night Owl." The play's director, Peter, is a tyrant who demands perfection from his actors and refuses to let them leave until they get the performance right.

One night, after a long rehearsal, the actors try to leave but find that they are locked inside the theater. They soon discover that someone has killed one of their own, a woman named Alicia, with a power drill. They realize that one of them must be the killer.

As they try to figure out who the murderer is, the remaining cast members start to turn on each other. Jealousies and rivalries come to the forefront, and secrets are revealed. Meanwhile, the killer is still on the loose, attacking and killing anyone who gets in their way.

The tension and paranoia grow as the remaining actors try to survive the night. They barricade themselves in the dressing room and try to come up with a plan to escape and stop the killer. But as the body count rises, they realize that their chances of getting out alive are slim.

StageFright: Aquarius is known for its inventive use of gore effects and suspenseful storytelling. It has since become a cult classic of Italian horror cinema.
