Comedy,Family,Science Fiction  United Kingdom

St. Trinian's is a 2007 comedy film that follows the misadventures of a group of school girls attending a notoriously anarchic and unconventional boarding school in England. The girls are constantly causing trouble and defying authority, much to the frustration of their teachers and the headmistress, who is struggling to keep the school afloat financially.

When a scheming businessman named Pomfrey suggests that he may be able to save the school if he is able to acquire a priceless painting that is currently on display at a nearby museum, the girls hatch a plan to steal the painting and use the profits to save the school themselves. Using their ingenuity and unconventional tactics, the girls successfully steal the painting and begin their plan to sell it.

As the girls navigate the complicated world of art dealers and shady businessmen, they must also contend with rival schools and skeptical teachers who are suspicious of their intentions. Along the way, they form unexpected alliances and uncover secrets that threaten to derail their plans.

In the end, the girls are able to successfully save St. Trinian's with the proceeds from the painting, and they continue to defy authority and live life on their own terms. The film has become a cult classic and features an all-star cast of British actors, including Colin Firth, Rupert Everett, and Gemma Arterton.
