The lonely widower is named Simon, and he lives in a remote area where he spends most of his time recording nature sounds and watching videos on his computer. One day, he discovers a video on his computer that he doesn't remember recording. When he plays the video, he sees a mysterious figure standing behind him, seemingly watching him.
Curious to find out more, Simon sets out on a journey to discover where the video was taken. His search leads him to an abandoned town deep in the forest. As Simon explores the town, he realizes that it is haunted by an ominous entity that seems to prey on people who enter the town.
