The members of the punk rock band are named Kira, Tasha, and Trish, and they are all in their early twenties and just starting out in the music industry. They are playing a bar gig in a gritty, rundown part of town when they are confronted by a group of local hoodlums who start a fight with them.
In the chaos that follows, the band members are severely injured and their van is completely wrecked. They are forced to spend the night in an auto repair shop while they figure out how they are going to get back on the road.
The next morning, they wake up to find that their injuries have been miraculously healed, but their limbs have been replaced with mechanical parts that they don't understand. Confused and frightened, they venture outside to discover that they are surrounded by an arena made of junkyard cars and a bloodthirsty crowd eager to see them fight for their lives.
As they try to make sense of their situation and figure out how to escape, they are forced to battle each other and other gladiators, including a terrifying group of cybernetically-enhanced warriors known as The Overlords. They also encounter The Emperor, a ruthless dictator who controls the arena and seems to have a personal vendetta against them.
Amidst the violence and chaos, Kira, Tasha, and Trish must rely on their wits and their newfound cybernetic powers to survive. But as they begin to unravel the mystery of how they ended up in this deadly situation, they realize that their fate may be more tied to the arena than they ever could have imagined.
