Spaced Invaders is a sci-fi comedy film released in 1990. It tells the story of a group of bumbling Martians who make an unexpected landing on Earth. Their ship has broken down, and the crew is having trouble getting back home.

As they make their way towards a nearby town, they accidentally intercept a radio transmission of Orson Welles' War of the Worlds broadcast. The Martians misinterpret the transmission as an actual message from their fleet, signaling that they should attack Earth.

Upon landing on Halloween night, the Martians get mistaken for trick-or-treaters by the townspeople. They soon realize that blending in is not going to be as easy as they thought, especially when they start causing chaos and destruction.

Meanwhile, a group of kids trying to avoid their school principal accidentally encounter the Martians and believe they are aliens. The children team up with the Martians, and together they try to fix the broken spaceship and return the Martians back home.

Spaced Invaders is a wacky and fun-filled adventure that blends sci-fi elements with comedy. The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Douglas Barr, Royal Dano, Ariana Richards, and Tony Cox. It was directed by Patrick Read Johnson and written by Johnson and Scott Lawrence Alexander.
