Spaceballs is a 1987 sci-fi parody film directed by Mel Brooks. The film takes place in the distant future, where the planet Spaceball is running out of air. In a bid to replenish their dwindling supply, the villainous Dark Helmet kidnaps Princess Vespa of the peaceful planet Druidia and threatens to blow up her planet if they don't give him the code to their atmosphere.
Desperate to save her planet and rescue the princess, Lone Starr, a mercenary, and his loyal sidekick, Barf, a half-man, half-dog creature, set off on a perilous journey to Spaceball to foil Dark Helmet's plan. Along the way, they encounter a series of comical obstacles, including a self-aware robot named Dot Matrix and a giant, money-obsessed creature called Pizza the Hutt.
In their quest to save Vespa and the galaxy from certain doom, Lone Starr and Barf seek the guidance of the wise old guru Yogurt, who reveals to Lone Starr the power of the mystical force known as "The Schwartz." Equipped with this newly discovered power, Lone Starr confronts Dark Helmet in a epic battle to the death.
