The five high school misfits in detention include Jake, the slacker jock who is obsessed with video games; Sierra, the socially awkward science nerd; Jax, the rebellious punk rocker; Jordan, the quiet artist; and Benny, the lovable overweight kid who is always hungry.
As they try to figure out a way to escape the school, they discover that the Space Ninjas are searching for a powerful crystal that is hidden somewhere on the premises. And as luck would have it, one of the students actually possesses the crystal, making them a prime target for the deadly invaders.
As the night wears on, the Space Ninjas continue to hunt down the students one by one, using their advanced technology and martial arts skills to deadly effect. But the misfits are not without their own strengths, and each one uses their unique skills and talents to fight back against the invaders.
In a thrilling and action-packed climax, the students finally make their way to the school's rooftop, where they face off against the Space Ninja leader in an epic battle for survival. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, can the misfits save the day and defeat the Space Ninjas once and for all?
