The movie follows five sorority sisters, Cassidy, Jessica, Ellie, Claire, and Megan, as they plan a prank to get revenge on Megan's cheating ex-boyfriend. They convince him that they accidentally killed Megan during a fake initiation ceremony gone wrong. However, their plan goes awry when the boyfriend hits Megan's body with a tire iron, killing her for real.
Panicked and unsure of what to do, the sisters decide to cover up the murder and dispose of Megan's body, swearing to never speak of it again. Eight months later, as they are preparing to graduate, they start receiving threatening messages from an unknown person who knows their secret.
As the group begins to crumble under the fear and paranoia of being exposed, one by one they are targeted and killed by a hooded figure. As they struggle to survive, they must also try to uncover the identity of the killer before it's too late.
The movie is a remake of the 1983 slasher film The House on Sorority Row, and features a cast including Briana Evigan, Rumer Willis, and Carrie Fisher. It was generally received negatively by critics, but has gained a cult following among horror fans.
