The movie Someone Marry Barry is a romantic comedy that follows the lives of three friends, Kurt, Desmond, and Rafe, who embark on a mission to find a wife for their socially awkward and inappropriate friend, Barry. Despite his crude behavior, Barry is a great guy who just can't seem to find the right woman to settle down with.
In an effort to help Barry, his friends set him up on a series of disastrous blind dates that only serve to highlight his social ineptitude. However, their luck changes when they meet a woman named Melanie, who is just as quirky and offbeat as Barry.
The group quickly realizes that Melanie may be the perfect match for Barry and set out to arrange a chance encounter for the two of them. Though hesitant at first, Barry and Melanie hit it off and begin dating. As their relationship deepens, the group begins to realize that they may have bitten off more than they can chew as each of their own personal demons threaten to get in the way of the blossoming romance.
