The main characters, Brendan and Darryl, are both football players at a university and decide to take a trip to Lake Arrowhead to celebrate Brendan's girlfriend, Serena's, birthday. They are joined by a group of their college friends, including Serena's best friend, Nicole, and her boyfriend, Gabe.
As they settle into the cabin, strange and eerie things begin to happen. Serena has a nightmare where she hears someone whispering, "somebody help me." Shortly after, coed Taryn goes missing and another friend, Jason, is found dead in the woods. The group begins to panic as they realize they are being hunted by a serial killer.
The tension rises as more and more of the friends disappear, and the group becomes increasingly paranoid, suspecting each other of being the killer. However, they receive unexpected help from a mysterious young woman named Leah who appears at the cabin, claiming to have been sent by the police to find the killer.
With Leah's help, the group begins to piece together clues and unravel the mystery of who the killer is and why they are being targeted. But as they get closer to the killer's identity, they also become the killer's next target.
The movie is a suspenseful horror-thriller with unexpected plot twists and a chilling ending that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
