Solomon Kane is a 16th century mercenary and warrior who has committed numerous atrocities throughout his life. After a fateful encounter with a demon, he realizes that his soul is condemned to burn in hell for all eternity. Fearing his fate, he renounces violence and turns to a life of peace and solitude.
Years later, he crosses paths with a group of Puritans who are being attacked by an evil sorcerer named Malachi. Solomon is reluctant to help them at first but changes his mind when he realizes that they are protecting a young woman named Meredith Crowthorn, who Malachi has marked for death.
As Solomon and the Puritans journey through the dangerous wilderness, they encounter a host of terrifying foes including witches, demons, and vicious bandits. Along the way, Solomon must confront his past and fight to protect the innocent, even if it means sacrificing his own life.
