So Close is a 2002 Hong Kong action thriller directed by Corey Yuen. The film follows two sisters, Lynn and Sue, who work as highly-skilled assassins for a secret organization called The Information Retrieval Bureau. However, their professional relationship becomes complicated when they are both hired to assassinate the same target – a technology mogul named Chow Nung.

As Lynn and Sue come closer to fulfilling their mission, they are pursued by the powerful criminal organization that hired them, as well as a determined female police detective named Kong Yat-hung, who is hot on their trail.

The sisters must utilize their unique skills and resourcefulness to outsmart their enemies and stay one step ahead of Kong. Along the way, they uncover a web of deceit and corruption that threatens everything they know and love.

The film stars Shu Qi as Lynn, a cool and collected assassin, while her younger sister Sue is played by Zhao Wei, who brings a more emotional and vulnerable edge to her character. The two actresses have electric chemistry on screen and their high-kicking fight scenes are a highlight of the film.

Despite its somewhat convoluted plot, So Close is an entertaining and visually stunning action movie that showcases some of the best talents in Hong Kong cinema.
