Samantha, a successful interior designer in New York City, reluctantly returns to her hometown for her father's retirement. She is still disappointed by her high school sweetheart, Jake, who broke her heart during their Snowcoming dance. Meanwhile, Jake has become a famous quarterback and is back in town to help renovate the football stadium. As Samantha and Jake cross paths, old feelings come back to the surface, and they both realize that they never quite moved on from each other.
While Samantha is helping her father pack up his office, she discovers that the library is in desperate need of a renovation. Seeing an opportunity to raise money for the library, she convinces Jake to use his celebrity status to help organize a fundraiser, called "Tailgate at the Library." The event brings the town together, and Jake and Samantha reconnect, leading to a romantic spark.
But as they work together to plan the fundraiser, they face various obstacles, including disagreements with the town council and personal insecurities. Through it all, they learn to trust each other and themselves, and ultimately, they fall in love again.
SnowComing is a heartwarming film about second chances and the power of community. It stars Lindy Booth as Samantha and Trevor Donovan as Jake, and premiered on Hallmark Channel in 2019.
