Upon discovering that Snow White is still alive and living with the dwarfs, the Queen disguises herself as an old hag and tricks Snow White into eating a poisoned apple, which puts her into a deep sleep that can only be broken by true love's first kiss. The dwarfs, with the help of the forest animals, chase after the Queen and ultimately defeat her. Snow White is awakened by the kiss of a prince, who falls in love with her at first sight and takes her away to his kingdom. The dwarfs bid a tearful farewell to Snow White as she departs with the prince to live happily ever after.
