After Snow White's father, the King, dies mysteriously, the Evil Queen marries him and takes over the kingdom of Tabor. She is obsessed with beauty and youth and believes that Snow White's heart will give her immortality and eternal beauty. The Queen keeps Snow White locked up in a tower for ten years while she slowly drains the life force out of her. Snow White is kept alive by her pure spirit and her will to survive.
One day, Snow White manages to escape from the tower and flees into the Dark Forest. The Queen sends the Huntsman, a skilled warrior, to find Snow White and bring her back alive. However, the Huntsman soon realizes that he cannot bring himself to kill Snow White and instead, he decides to help her escape.
