After witnessing the murder of a prosecuting attorney by notorious gangster Eddie Kim, Sean Jones is placed under FBI protection and flown to Los Angeles to testify against him. FBI agent Neville Flynn is in charge of the operation and takes every precaution necessary to keep Sean safe, including booking them on a red-eye flight from Honolulu.
Mid-flight, unexpected visitors make their way onto the plane - a crate full of venomous snakes that were intentionally released by Eddie Kim’s henchmen in an attempt to kill Sean and sabotage the trial. Chaos ensues as passengers, crew members, and law enforcement attempt to battle the deadly creatures and land the plane safely.
Neville and Sean work together to come up with a plan to subdue the snakes and save the other passengers from peril. Along with a courageous flight attendant and a geeky snake expert, they use their wit and bravery to take on the venomous creatures in a desperate fight for survival.
As the situation becomes more dire, it becomes apparent that the plane will not be able to make it to its intended destination. Neville and the rest of the team must find a way to overcome the obstacles in their path to ensure that everyone on board the doomed flight makes it out alive.
