Throughout the day, Jane accidentally ruins her drug dealer's job interview, gets her friend Brevin (John Krasinski) fired from his job as a teacher, loses her purse and phone, crashes her car, and gets involved in a series of outrageous situations.
As Jane tries to fix the messes she's made, she faces surreal challenges and encounters a variety of eccentric characters, including an angry boyfriend, a group of elderly nudists, and a hostile sandwich shop owner. Despite her best efforts, everything Jane does seems to go horribly wrong.
As the day goes on, Jane's paranoia and confusion grow, leading to increasingly bizarre and hilarious situations. She also starts to question her own choices and motivations, realizing that maybe her drug use is causing more harm than good.
In the end, Jane must confront the consequences of her actions and decide whether she is ready to make a change in her life. Through a series of comical and heartfelt moments, she learns important lessons about responsibility, friendship, and self-worth.
