The movie Slumber is a horror/mystery film directed by Jonathan Hopkins. The story follows a sleep doctor, Dr. Alice Arnolds (Maggie Q), who specializes in treating patients with chronic nightmares. When the Lambert family reaches out to her for help with their son's extreme nightmares, Dr. Arnolds agrees to take on the case.
However, as she begins to dig deeper into the family's history, it becomes clear that something much darker is at play. The Lamberts' nightmares seem to be connected to a mysterious demon that feeds on people's fears and traumas. Dr. Arnolds realizes that not only is the entire family in danger, but she too may be at risk once she starts having her own recurring nightmares.
Dr. Arnolds then sets out to protect the Lamberts and herself by uncovering the truth about the demon and figuring out how to stop it. However, her investigation leads her down a dangerous path, and she soon finds herself fighting for her life against an entity that is more powerful and sinister than she could have ever imagined.
The movie features strong performances from its cast including Maggie Q as Dr. Arnolds, Kristen Bush as Sarah Lambert, and Will Kemp as Charlie Lambert. With tension-filled scenes, creepy visuals, and plenty of scares, Slumber is a chilling thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
