The movie Sleeping Beauty is a lighthearted and whimsical spin on the classic fairy tale. It follows the adventures of Prince Égon, a young man who spends his days dreaming of rescuing Sleeping Beauty from her enchanted slumber. Enter Maggie Jerkins, an archeologist from Unesco who has come to Letonia to explore the ancient ruins of the kingdom. When Égon learns that Maggie has connections to the elusive kingdom of Kentz, where Sleeping Beauty is said to be sleeping, he sees a glimmer of hope for his dreams to come true. Against his father's wishes, he decides to join Maggie on her expedition and see if he can locate the sleeping princess.
As Égon and Maggie travel through winding roads and dense forests, they encounter a colorful cast of characters who both help and hinder their journey. There's the mischievous bandit who only wants to steal Égon's horse, the kind-hearted shepherdess who shares her humble home with the travelers, and the evil witch who is determined to keep Sleeping Beauty under her spell.
Through it all, Égon remains steadfast in his pursuit of his fairy tale ending. He and Maggie have many close calls and thrilling adventures as they travel closer and closer to the kingdom of Kentz. Along the way, Égon discovers that true love and bravery come in many forms, and that sometimes the greatest rewards are the ones we never expected.
In the end, Égon and his friends face one final showdown with the wicked witch, who has been using dark magic to keep Sleeping Beauty asleep for centuries.
