Camp Carnage: Deadly Counselor Rising

Horror,Comedy  United States of America

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers is a horror film released in 1988. It is the second installment in the Sleepaway Camp series, following the original film released in 1983.

The film stars Pamela Springsteen as Angela Baker, a psychotic transsexual who escapes from a mental hospital and becomes a summer camp counselor. She masquerades as a moralistic and strict counselor who seeks to instill proper moral values to her teenage charges.

As the days go by, the teenagers at the camp begin to break Angela's strict rules and engage in activities she deems immoral. She retaliates by murdering them in various gruesome ways, such as decapitation, impalement, and drowning.

Meanwhile, Molly, an intrepid counselor, begins to investigate the murders and uncovers the truth about Angela. She discovers that Angela is the notorious killer who committed similar murders at another summer camp years earlier.

The film features themes of slasher horror, black comedy, and satire. It also contains nudity, strong language, and graphic violence, which make it unsuitable for younger audiences.

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers received mixed reviews from critics but has since gained a cult following. It spawned two more sequels, Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland and Return to Sleepaway Camp.
