In Ski Party, the plot revolves around a group of college friends who head to a ski resort for their winter vacation. Among them is Todd Armstrong (played by Frankie Avalon), a ladies' man who is trying to convince his friend, Craig Gamble (played by Dwayne Hickman), to loosen up and have some fun with the girls.

Meanwhile, Craig has fallen for a beautiful French ski instructor named Carole (played by Christine Nelson), but he can't seem to win her over. Todd comes up with a plan to help Craig by convincing the guys to dress up in drag and attend a party where Carole will be in attendance.

The plan backfires when the guys end up attracting the attention of the male guests instead of the females. However, in the end, Craig learns to be true to himself and wins Carole's heart without any help from Todd's crazy schemes.

Ski Party also features Annette Funicello in a supporting role as an aspiring singer who performs several musical numbers throughout the film. The movie was released in 1965 and was part of a series of beach party movies that were popular at the time.
