In Sister Swap: Christmas in the City, Jennifer and Meg decide to switch places for the holidays. Meg takes over Jennifer's restaurant in Salt Lake City while Jennifer heads back home to Hazelwood to run the family bakery with her parents.
As they adjust to their new surroundings, each sister learns valuable lessons about themselves and their priorities. Jennifer realizes the importance of taking time for family and reconnecting with her hometown roots. Meg discovers her passion for entrepreneurship and running a successful restaurant.
Along the way, both sisters find love interests. Jennifer meets a charming local businessman while Meg falls for a talented chef at the restaurant.
As Christmas approaches, the sisters unsuccessfully try to adjust to their new roles and decide to switch back. However, they realize they have grown and learned so much in their new environments and ultimately decide to continue their new paths.
