Single Not Searching follows the journey of four friends, all successful African-American women in their thirties, who decide to travel to Ghana to reconnect with their roots and take a break from their hectic lives in Atlanta. The group includes Tolu, the outspoken and confident businesswoman; Jasmine, the reserved and emotionally guarded lawyer; Kiki, the carefree and adventurous event planner; and Kemi, the reserved and introspective writer.

As they explore Ghana and immerse themselves in the culture, the women face a series of challenges that test their friendship and force them to confront their deepest fears and insecurities. Tolu struggles with her intense jealousy towards Jasmine, who she sees as the most successful and put-together of the group. Jasmine grapples with her past traumatic experiences, particularly with her abusive ex-boyfriend. Kiki grapples with her commitment issues and her fear of settling down, while Kemi confronts her writer's block and her fear of failure.

Amidst these individual struggles, the women experience the beauty of Ghana and the warmth of its people, making new friends and creating unforgettable memories. They also discover unexpected love interests, which further complicates their feelings towards each other and their own personal journeys.

As they reach the end of their trip, the women realize that their friendship has been forever changed, but also strengthened by the challenges they faced together. They return to Atlanta with a newfound appreciation for each other and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
