The four sailors, Jack, Tom, Fred, and Jim, are on leave in Singapore during World War II. They are looking for a night of fun and adventure, and they find it at a local dive bar. There, they meet a Chinese girl named Sue, who hails from Brooklyn, New York.
Sue is a talented singer and performer who has left the United States to pursue her dreams of making it big in Asia. She quickly becomes the center of attention at the dive bar, and the sailors are drawn to her unique personality and charm.
As the night goes on, the sailors learn that Sue has a dark secret. She is actually a spy working for the Chinese resistance, and she is in Singapore to gather intelligence on the Japanese occupation. The sailors find themselves caught up in Sue's dangerous mission, and they must work together to help her complete her mission without getting caught.
