In the movie Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage, the evil sorcerer named Jaffar kidnaps the Sultan's first born daughter, Princess Parisa, and demands that the Sultan give him his magical lamp in exchange for her safe return. The Sultan turns to Sinbad, a skilled and brave sailor, to go on a perilous journey to retrieve the girl and the lamp.
