Sinbad: Beyond the Veil of Mists is a 2000 animated adventure film that follows the legendary sailor Sinbad as he embarks on a dangerous journey to help a desperate princess save her kingdom. The story takes place in the magical land of Basra, where the princess, named Marina, discovers that her father, the king, has been captured by an evil sorcerer named Baraka.

Marina seeks the help of Sinbad, who is initially reluctant to get involved in her troubles. However, she manages to persuade him by promising him a valuable reward, as well as revealing that she knows his true identity. Sinbad is actually a prince who was cursed and transformed into a sailor by the sorcerer Rashid, who happens to be Baraka's brother.

Together, Sinbad and Marina set out on a perilous quest to rescue the king and defeat Baraka once and for all. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and enemies, including giant sea monsters, treacherous sandstorms, and fierce warriors. They also receive assistance from unexpected allies, such as a wise old genie and a group of friendly pirates.

As they journey deeper into the heart of Baraka's lair, they learn about his true motivations and discover a shocking secret about Marina's past. In the end, Sinbad and Marina must use all their wits and skills to overcome Baraka's dark magic and save the kingdom of Basra from certain doom.

The film features the voices of several notable actors, including Brendan Fraser as Sinbad, Jennifer Hale as Marina, and Mark Hamill as Baraka. It was directed by Evan Ricks and produced by Ray Harryhausen, the legendary special effects artist who worked on classic films such as Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts.
