The movie Shottas depicts the life of two childhood friends, Biggs (Ky-Mani Marley) and Wayne (Spragga Benz), who grow up on the violent and poverty-stricken streets of Kingston, Jamaica. Their upbringing leaves them with no choice but to adopt the "Shotta" way of life - a Jamaican term for gangsters who operate outside of the law.
They begin their journey as young boys, exploring the dangerous world of drug dealing and violence. As they grow older, they become more ruthless, eventually becoming two of the most feared and respected Shottas in the Jamaican underworld.
Their success leads them to Miami, where they start their own drug operation, working their way up the ranks and taking control of the city's drug trade. However, this newfound power comes at a cost, and the two friends are forced to confront their pasts, including the people they have hurt and betrayed along the way.
Throughout the movie, Biggs and Wayne's friendship is put to the test as they navigate the dangerous and unpredictable world of organized crime. They remain fiercely loyal to each other, even when they face personal and moral dilemmas.
Along with Biggs and Wayne, the movie features a cast of colorful characters, including gang leaders, drug dealers, corrupt law enforcement officers, and love interests. Despite the graphic violence and harsh language, the movie also explores themes of loyalty, brotherhood, and the price of power.
