Short Peace is a collection of four short anime films, each with its unique theme based on different aspects of Japanese culture. The first film, "Possessions," is directed by Shuhei Morita and depicts a traveler who takes refuge in a shrine during a storm and finds himself encountering spirits from Japanese folklore.

The second film, "Combustible," is directed by Katsuhiro Otomo and tells the story of a young boy and girl who become firefighters in ancient Edo (now Tokyo) and try to save the city from a raging inferno.

The third film, "Gambo," is directed by Hiroaki Ando and depicts the adventures of a giant white bear named Gambo and a young girl he protects from a tribe of demon hunters.

The final film, "A Farewell to Weapons," is also directed by Otomo and is set in a post-apocalyptic world where soldiers must fight for survival against an army of autonomous war machines.

Each of the films in Short Peace showcases a different style of animation and storytelling, creating a varied and engaging experience for viewers. Together, they offer a fascinating glimpse into the diverse and rich cultural heritage of Japan.
