Shopping is a 1994 British crime drama film directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and starring Jude Law, Sean Pertwee, and Sadie Frost. Set in an unnamed city in the UK, the film follows a group of young people who engage in the illegal and dangerous activity of ram-raiding.

Tommy (played by Law) is a young man who runs a chop shop and organizes ram-raiding operations for a profit. He is a skilled driver and strategist, and is obsessed with making money and becoming successful. His main rivals are Billy (Pertwee) and Jo (Frost), a young couple who are in love and see ram-raiding as a way to rebel against the society that has rejected them.

As the competition between Tommy and Billy becomes more intense, their actions become increasingly reckless and violent. They engage in high-speed chases with the police, destroy public property, and endanger innocent people. At the same time, they are also pursued by the law enforcement authorities (led by a detective played by Jonathan Pryce), who are determined to put an end to their criminal activities.

The film is set against a backdrop of bleak urban landscapes and industrial buildings, and features a pulsating electronic soundtrack by the likes of Aphex Twin and Orbital. It is a raw and gritty portrayal of youth culture, rebellion, and the pursuit of power and status in a world that seems to have no place for the marginalized and disaffected.

Despite its controversial subject matter and violent scenes, Shopping received generally positive reviews from critics and became a cult classic of British cinema. It is notable for launching the career of director Paul W. S. Anderson, who went on to make successful films such as Mortal Kombat and the Resident Evil franchise.
