She's Just a Shadow follows a crime family in Tokyo known as the Sukeban Clan, led by the ruthless boss, Tatsuya. The clan is comprised of skilled female assassins known as "shadow women" who carry out their leader's bidding.
As the Sukeban Clan begins to expand their territory, they find themselves caught in the middle of a heated gang war with a rival organization. Conflicts escalate, and the violence intensifies as each side tries to gain the upper hand.
Meanwhile, a serial killer is on the loose, targeting women and leaving their bodies in public places for all to see. The killer's grisly acts have the city on edge, and the police are doing all they can to bring the perpetrator to justice.
As the two plotlines converge, the Sukeban Clan is forced to face their biggest challenge yet, as they must navigate the dangerous world of organized crime while also trying to survive the wrath of a merciless killer.
