Shark Bait is a 2019 thriller film directed by Peter Johnson and starring Hannah Williams, Sam Johnson, and Luke Thompson. The film follows a group of young friends who rent jetskis for a weekend of adventure on the open ocean. The group includes Sam (played by Sam Johnson), his girlfriend Emily (played by Hannah Williams), and their friends Alex (played by Luke Thompson), Jake (played by Max Smith), and Sarah (played by Mia Davis).
As they race their jetskis across the water, the group finds themselves in the path of an oncoming storm. In an attempt to escape the storm, they lose control of their jetskis and collide with each other. In the aftermath of the crash, they discover that one of their group has been badly injured.
With no way to call for help and a storm approaching, the group must find a way to get their injured friend back to safety. As they struggle to survive against the elements, they discover that there are sharks lurking in the waters below, waiting to strike.
