SGT. Will Gardner is a 2019 American drama film written, directed, and produced by Max Martini. The film follows SGT. Will Gardner (played by Martini), a troubled Iraq War veteran with traumatic brain injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who struggles with reintegrating into society. Disillusioned with civilian life, he sets out on a cross-country journey with the hope of reuniting with his young son, who he has not seen since before his deployment.
As he travels across America by foot, hitchhiking and on a motorcycle, Gardner encounters a host of characters and experiences that force him to confront his past, his inner demons, and his own sense of purpose.
