Jay and Annie are a married couple who have been together for over 10 years. They have had two children and their relationship has become predictable, and their sex life has become boring. One day, they decide to make a private sex tape to spice things up and rekindle their romance.
The couple spends an entire evening filming themselves in every sexual position they can think of. They use multiple cameras to get a variety of angles and use props to add even more excitement to the video. After finishing the recording, they decide to transfer the video to their iPad and erase it from their computer.
Unfortunately, the video ends up in the hands of a few of their friends. One of them is tech-savvy and accidentally sends the video to all of the contacts in his email list, including Jay and Annie's boss. Panic sets in as the couple races to try to delete the video from all of the devices it has been sent to. Along the way, they encounter several obstacles including a crazy sex toy delivery guy, a drug-crazed dog, and a group of security guards.
Throughout their frantic search, the couple realizes that their sex life has been lacking intimacy and they begin to reconnect. They also rediscover their passion for each other and make love in a public place. Eventually, they are able to retrieve all of the devices with the video but not before it is leaked online.
In the end, the couple's friends and coworkers see the video but instead of losing their jobs and reputations, they are seen as a couple who is deeply in love and has found a way to keep the passion alive. The movie ends with Jay and Annie happy and in love.
