The movie features two parts, with the first half set in Tokyo and the second half set in Vladivostok, Russia. In the beginning, Akiko, a part-time employee at a Tokyo travel agency, meets Matsunaga, a mysterious businessman, in a bar. They hit it off, but before she knows it, he disappears from her life.

She decides to travel to Vladivostok to find him, but upon arrival, she realizes that she does not speak the language, has very little money, and knows nothing about the city. Her first attempts to locate Matsunaga are unsuccessful, and she is scammed by taxi drivers and hotel staff.

Finally, she finds Matsunaga, but he is distant and cold towards her. He tells her not to trust anyone and leaves. Akiko, desperate to follow him, hires a taxi driver who takes her to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town.

The taxi driver turns out to be working with a gang of Russian thugs who attack Akiko and leave her for dead. However, Akiko survives and escapes, and finally meets Matsunaga again in a dramatic conclusion to the story.

Seventh Code is a gripping thriller that explores themes of loneliness, desperation, and the dangers of trusting strangers in unfamiliar surroundings.
