The movie Send Me No Flowers is a romantic comedy released in 1964, directed by Norman Jewison, and starring Rock Hudson, Doris Day, and Tony Randall. It tells the story of George Kimball (Rock Hudson), a hypochondriac who mistakenly believes that he is dying after hearing his doctor discuss another patient's terminal illness.

Feeling that he has only a short time left to live, George decides to make some important decisions about his future.
