The meeting takes place in a chic restaurant in Portland. Both women have moved on and embarked on different paths in life. Kris is now living as her true self and has recently undergone a major transition. Naomi is married and has a daughter.
Despite the awkwardness and initial hesitation, the two women soon fall into an intense conversation about their history, including the reasons for their sudden breakup.
