Sarah is a hard-working single mother who moves to the suburbs with her young daughter, seeking a fresh start after a difficult divorce. She meets and starts dating a confident and charming firefighter, who seems to be the perfect match for her.
However, Sarah soon becomes the target of her new neighbor, a creepy and obsessive man named Tom, who takes his duties as the head of the neighborhood watch to an extreme level.
