After the initial misunderstanding, Steve Lund's character decides to continue the charade and work as a parking attendant at the park. Along the way, he discovers the importance of the park to the community and the people who use it. He also falls for the girl, played by Siobhan Williams, who is leading the protest against his family's plans to close the park.
As Steve spends more time at the park and gets to know the locals, he realizes that his family's plans could have some negative consequences. He begins to question his own values and priorities and must make a difficult decision about whether to support his family or stand up for what he believes is right.
