The movie follows Mark and Sarah, a couple who have been married for 20 years but have been growing apart for some time. They are on the verge of announcing their plans to divorce when their family surprises them with a tropical trip for their anniversary.
Despite their reservations, Mark and Sarah decide to go on the trip together as a final attempt to save their marriage. They arrive at the luxurious resort, where they are greeted by friendly staff and surrounded by breath-taking views.
Initially, the couple keeps their distance from each other, but as they explore the island, old feelings begin to resurface. They indulge in exciting activities, such as scuba diving and snorkeling, and even renew their vows in a romantic beach ceremony.
However, their relationship is put to the test when they encounter an attractive resort employee, who takes a liking to Mark. Sarah becomes jealous and suspicious, which leads to arguments and tension between the couple.
Throughout the trip, Mark and Sarah learn to communicate better and work through their issues, ultimately deciding to give their marriage another chance. They return home with a newfound appreciation for each other and a renewed commitment to their relationship.
