In Season of the Witch, the two knights are named Behman and Felson. They have fought together in the Crusades for years, but upon returning to Europe, they find a very different world waiting for them. The Black Plague has ravaged their homeland, killing thousands, and the Church is desperate for a solution.
Behman and Felson are approached by a monk named Debelzaq, who asks them to transport a witch named Anna to a remote abbey. She is believed to be responsible for the plague, and the Church hopes to end the epidemic by performing a ritual that will strip Anna of her powers.
Behman and Felson are hesitant to accept the mission, knowing that witches are often innocent and persecuted unfairly. However, they ultimately agree, seeing it as a chance to redeem themselves for the sins they committed during the Crusades.
As they journey through the dangerous countryside with Anna, they encounter many obstacles, including treacherous terrain, hostile villagers, and supernatural forces. They also come to question their own beliefs and motivations, as they learn more about the true nature of Anna and her powers.
Once the group reaches the abbey, they are confronted with even more challenges, including corrupt monks and an ancient evil that threatens to destroy them all. Behman and Felson must use all their skills and courage to complete their mission and save themselves and those they love.
