Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon takes place at a comic book convention, the Mega Mondo Pop Cartoon-a-Con, where the gang comes face-to-face with some of their favorite animated heroes such as the Herculoids, Frankenstein Jr., and Space Ghost. There is also a movie premiere of Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, much to the delight of Scooby and Shaggy.
However, the convention is not all fun and games when a mysterious villain known as Mr. Hyde starts causing trouble, unleashing ferocious monster bats, howling hounds, and slimy creatures all over the place. It's up to Mystery Inc. to solve the case and save the convention from being ruined.
With the help of the Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, the gang uncovers clues and sets traps to catch Mr. Hyde, but it's the comedic duo of Shaggy and Scooby who ultimately save the day with their superhero alter-egos and love for pizza. Along the way, they also learn valuable lessons about teamwork and facing their fears.
