The movie begins as the gang - consisting of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma - receives an invitation to attend a culinary resort run by Fred's uncle, Bobby Flay. Excited to try out new dishes, they accept the invitation and arrive at the resort.
Upon their arrival, they are introduced to Bobby Flay who shows them around the resort, which includes multiple dining areas, kitchens, and a large greenhouse filled with fresh ingredients. The gang is impressed by the resort's state-of-the-art facilities and can't wait to try out the delicious recipes that are being prepared by the resort's top chefs.
However, their joy is short-lived when a ghostly figure appears and begins to terrorize the guests. The ghost is accompanied by a wafting smell of spices that causes everyone to choke and cough. The ghost vandalizes the resort, destroys property, and causes havoc everywhere it goes.
Fearing for their safety, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby set out to solve the mystery of the ghostly attacks. They investigate the resort and its surroundings, gather clues, and interview witnesses to try and solve the case.
As they dig deeper, they discover that the resort is built on the site of an ancient spice market that had been destroyed centuries ago. The spices that were sold at the market had magical properties that were believed to bring good fortune to whoever possessed them. The resort's chef, played by Bobby Flay, had uncovered some of these rare spices and was using them in his new recipes. However, the ghostly figure was none other than the spirits of the previous spice merchants who had come back to reclaim their stolen treasures.
The gang uncovers the plot and sets out to catch the ghost before it causes more damage. In a thrilling chase, the gang catches the ghost and the resort is saved from certain destruction. In the end, Bobby Flay thanks the gang for solving the mystery and everyone enjoys a grand feast with the delicious recipes from the resort's kitchen.
