In Scooby-Doo! and the Goblin King, The Amazing Krudsky, a failed illusionist, is seeking ultimate power by capturing the Goblin King and stealing his scepter, which holds magical powers. He plans to use the power to become the greatest magician in the world, but in doing so, he threatens to ruin Halloween forever.
Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are enlisted to help when they accidentally stumble upon Krudsky's plan. The duo, along with their friends Fred, Velma, and Daphne, must journey into the Goblin King's underworld to stop Krudsky and save Halloween.
As they venture through the enchanted land, they encounter a host of magical creatures, including a friendly griffin and a mischievous banshee. Along the way, they also discover the true meaning of Halloween and the importance of friendship.
In the end, Scooby-Doo and his gang save the day by thwarting Krudsky's plan and rescuing the Goblin King. The gang also helps Krudsky see the error of his ways, and he ultimately learns the value of using his talent to bring joy to others rather than seeking power for himself.
