The film follows the lives of John and Amanda Leyden, two passionate and dedicated teachers who teach at Headfort School, one of Ireland's last boarding schools. The school is located in a grand, 18th-century estate in Kells, County Meath, and is home to around 60 students between the ages of 7 and 13.

The film provides an intimate and heartwarming look at the lives of John and Amanda, who have spent almost 50 years teaching at Headfort School. Through the eyes of the filmmakers, we see the unique and endearing qualities of these two teachers who have become legends at the school.
